Most n8n 2.0 breakage comes from new secure defaults, not bugs: Code nodes can no longer read environment variables, Execute Command is disabled, file nodes are fenced into one folder, and code runs in task runners. If your Gmail, Sheets or Drive credential in n8n dies about a week after you connect it, your Google Cloud OAuth app is almost certainly still in “Testing.” Switch it to “In production,” reconnect the credential once, and the weekly expiry stops.

If the test URL works and the production URL doesn't, the workflow logic is almost never the problem. It's usually one of six things. The workflow isn't published, the public URL variables are wrong, or the proxy mangles the path, headers or timeouts. Otherwise the method or path doesn't match, or queue mode sends the request to the wrong process.
